Youth Drop In
The Youth Drop In program is a free recreation, information and referral service for young people aged 12 - 24 years. The Youth Drop In Program provides social, recreational, cultural and educational activities and opportunities for young people at Prairiewood Youth and Community Centre each Thursday from 4 pm - 8 pm (excluding school holidays and public holidays). School Holiday Program
Parks offers during each school holiday period an exciting range of school holiday activities and events for school aged children and youth.
Maths Tutoring
Maths Tutoring is offered during the school term for high school students. Enrolment is essential for this program. For further information contact Parks.
Siblings Support Group
The Parks Siblings Support Group is a program for siblings (8-12 years) of a child with a disability. The program aims to increase participants' emotional capacities, understanding of the special needs and increase communication with their family and friends. Children are able to ask questions about their siblings' special needs/disability as well as participate in fun activities. They can come to share stories and learn that there are other siblings who might share some of the same feelings and experiences. For more information contact Parks.
