General Services

Information and Referral

Parks provides information and referrals to local services and support agencies. We have resources and access to information available on a wide range of topics including:

  • Accommodation and Support Services
  • Leisure Activities
  • Centrelink Information, Employment Services
  • Material assistance Services
  • Mental Health Services
  • Consumer and Legal Aid Information
  • Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Service
  • General Health, CALD and community service Information
  • Disability and Aged Care services
Our office is open for Information and Referrals from Monday- Thursday 9 am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-4:30pm

Tax Help

Parks participates in the Tax Help program every year from July - October. Tax Help is for people on low incomes including, but not restricted to, those who are also seniors, students, people from non-English speaking backgrounds, people with a disability, Aboriginal people or Torres Strait Islander people. Appointments are essential for this service.

Vietnamese Computer Classes

Computer classes run though the school term. For further information contact Parks.

Telstra Vouchers

Parks can assist clients who are experiencing financial hardship with Telstra vouchers, once per financial year July-June. Appointments are not necessary, and clients who have a health care card, or pension card are welcome to come to Parks for assistance.
