The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program is one of the most effective evidence-based parenting programs in the world, backed up by more than 35 years of ongoing research. Triple P gives parents simple and practical strategies to help them build strong, healthy relationships, confidently manage their children’s behaviour and prevent problems developing. Triple P has demonstrated to be effective across cultures, socio-economic groups and in many different kinds of family structures.
The Triple P positive parenting program is for parents with children aged 3–8 years. The program gives parents the tools to:
• encourage behaviour a parent likes from their child
• deal positively and consistently with problem behaviour
• take the stress out of parenting.
Triple P can also help to develop family relationships assisting children to reach their full potential.
