Free food hampers and school holiday activity packs

The Parks Community Network acknowledges the difficult circumstances that the community finds itself in during this health crisis.

We are committed to ensuring community members who need support are able to access essential services they require during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have delivered hundreds of free food hampers and school holiday activity packs across Fairfield and Liverpool area. The hampers are filled with non-perishable groceries including rice, pasta, pasta sauce, milk, jam, biscuits, tuna, soup, sugar, tea, coffee, drinking chocolate, flour, snacks, tissues and toilet paper.

They have received referrals from other community organisations including neighbourhood centres, ethnic specific organisations, schools, Fairfield Council, Fairfield Hospital as well as numerous self-referrals.

As a place-based community organisation over the last 25 years, we have focused on supporting individuals, families and communities who experience vulnerability and crisis. At this time, where the coronavirus situation continues to progress, our work is even more critical and it is important to continue providing support to the community.
